Tech Transformation FAQ

Q: What is the Tech Transformation promotion?

A: Our Tech Transformation promotion is available to Classic ATG customers who would like to upgrade to the AVANCE platform. You are eligible for a $25,000 rebate when upgrading to the AVANCE L3 with a Plus or Max configuration, or a $50,000 rebate when upgrading to the AVANCE L5 or AVANCE LX5.

For customers interested in provisioning for AVANCE LX5 now, you can upgrade to AVANCE L5 with MB13 antennas and receive an additional $30,000 rebate. Then, when AVANCE LX5 is available, you will receive an LX5 box swap at no additional charge.

* All tech transformation promotional rebates are in support of Gogo's LTE network transition, being completed in connection with Gogo's participation in the Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Reimbursement Program.


Q: Is this open for all ATG systems?

A: Yes. Any customer with an ATG 1000/2000/4000/5000/8000 may take part in this promotion.


Q: What is the promotion for the AVANCE LX5?

A: Our Tech Transformation promotion can apply to current Classic ATG customers upgrading to an AVANCE LX5 system on your aircraft. Customers choosing AVANCE LX5 have two options.

  1. You can receive a $50,000 rebate on AVANCE LX5 once it’s available - you will receive the rebate after installation and activation.

  2. You can provision for AVANCE LX5 immediately by installing an AVANCE L5 ($50,000 rebate) and MB13 antennas ($30,000 rebate) prior to 5G entry into service. Then, you will receive an LX5 box swap at no additional charge once available. The LRU swap and 5G service activation must be completed by December 31, 2024.


Q: I want AVANCE LX5, but don't want to wait for Gogo 5G to launch. What's the best path to AVANCE for me?

Q: What is the promotion for AVANCE L3 and L5 systems?

A: Our Tech Transformation promotion is for current Classic ATG customers installing an AVANCE L3 (Plus or Max) and AVANCE L5 system on their aircraft. You will receive a $25,000 rebate for an AVANCE L3 (Plus or Max) or a $50,000 rebate for an AVANCE L5 from Gogo upon installation, activation and a completed SSA. Equipment must be shipped, installed, and activated by December 31, 2025.


Q: What do I need to do to get the promotion?

A:

  1. Complete the promo request form available online prior to December 31, 2025 (AVANCE L3 and L5) upgrades. This can be done by you or the Dealer installing your system.
    Note: if you are provisioning for an AVANCE LX5, the AVANCE L5, MB13 antennas, and promotion form must be submitted prior to LX5 availability in order to receive the MB13 $30,000 bonus rebate. The LRU swap and 5G activation must be completed by December 31, 2024.
  2. Once we receive the form, Gogo Sales Operations or a Regional Sales Manager will reach out to confirm the your promotion eligibility.

  3. After installation of the AVANCE L3 or L5 or LX5 system, the Classic ATG should be sent to Gogo using the RMA labels provided.
  4. Then, you will be issued a rebate upon activation before December 31, 2025 (AVANCE L3 and L5) or December 31, 2024 (AVANCE LX5) from Gogo in approximately 4-8 weeks after the equipment is received in our system and the SSA has been completed.
  5. You must complete a Subscriber Service Agreement (SSA) to activate service.


Q: When does the promotion expire?

A: The Tech Transformation promotion runs through December 31, 2025. If you choose to provision your aircraft with AVANCE L5 and MB13 antennas to receive the MB13 $30,000 bonus rebate, this offer expires at the time of 5G entry into service.


Q: What is the process for receiving a rebate?

A: When a rebate is due, our Accounting team will pay out the rebate based on the information provided in your promo registration form. The payment will then be processed via check. Please allow 4-8 weeks for processing after you’ve met all the qualifications detailed above. If Accounting is unable to process the rebate payment via check, the amount will be credited to the monthly service account for the aircraft that completed the upgrade.


Q: Will I get the AVANCE hardware for free?

A: No. You must purchase the AVANCE L3 or L5 or LX5 system and return your aircraft’s current Classic ATG system to participate in the promo and receive your rebate.


Q: What if I don't have an ATG Classic system currently in my aircraft? Are there any other promotions?

A: Yes! Our Ready To Fly and First To Fly promos are available for both new and existing customers. Our Tech Transformation promotion is a loyalty program intended for customers with a Classic ATG system.


Q: If my ATG system is old, will I still get the full rebate?

A: Yes. As long as you return the currently installed ATG LRU to Gogo and meet the additional requirements of the promotion, you will receive a full rebate.


Q: Is the L3 Core eligible for the $25,000 rebate?

A: No. The Tech Transformation promotion only applies to L3 Plus and Max.


Q: Can I get the Tech Transformation rebate on multiple aircraft?

A: Yes. If you're receiving a multi-aircraft discount, you are still eligible for this promotion. However, customers with a service pricing agreement (fleet program) are not eligible for this promotion. If you have a fleet program, we’d like to create an upgrade plan that best meets your needs; please contact your Gogo Key Account Manager for details.


Q: What if my account has a past due balance?

A: Your account must be in good standing to qualify for the promotion. If your account has a past due balance on your monthly service account, the past due balance must be paid in full before you will qualify for the promotion.


Q: If I am purchasing a new pre-owned aircraft with an existing Classic ATG system, will I qualify for the promotion?
