Q: Who is eligible for the promotion?

A: This promotion is available to new customers who have an aircraft without a Classic ATG (1000/2000/4000/5000/8000) or AVANCE (L3/L5) system installed and is not a new OEM or Production aircraft.     If your customer does not have a Classic ATG or AVANCE system installed but does have Iridium or SwiftBroadband service through Gogo, their account must not be past due to qualify and only in-service aircraft can qualify. 

NOTE: If the customer owns multiple aircraft, some with Gogo systems installed and some without, only their aircraft that does not have a Gogo system installed will qualify for this promotion. We have separate promotions for customers with our Classic ATG or AVANCE system installed.

 

Q: What is the promotion for AVANCE LX5? 

A: Our Ready To Fly LX5 promotion is for new customers installing an AVANCE LX5 system on an aircraft with no existing Gogo air-to-ground (ATG) or AVANCE equipment or already installed. New customers choosing AVANCE LX5 have two options.

  1. They can receive a $25,000 on AVANCE LX5 once it’s available - they will receive the rebate after installation and activation.
  2. They can provision for AVANCE LX5 immediately by installing an AVANCE L5 ($25,000 rebate) and MB13 antennas ($30,000 rebate) prior to 5G entry into service. Then, they will receive an LX5 box swap at no additional charge once available. The LRU swap and 5G service activation must be completed by December 31, 2024.

Q: What is the promotion for AVANCE L5?

A: Our Ready To Fly L5 promotion is for customers installing an AVANCE L5 system on an aircraft with no existing Gogo ATG equipment already installed. The customer will receive a $25,000 rebate from Gogo upon installation, activation and a completed SSA. Equipment must be shipped, installed, and activated by December 31, 2024.

Q: What is the promotion for AVANCE L3?

A: Our Ready To Fly L3 promotion is for customers installing an AVANCE L3 (Core, Max or Plus systems) on an aircraft with no existing Gogo ATG equipment already installed. The customer will receive a $10,000 rebate from Gogo upon installation, activation and a completed SSA. Equipment must be shipped, installed, and activated by December 31, 2024. 

Q: What do we need to do?

A:  

  1. Complete the promo request form promo request form available online prior to December 31, 2024 (AVANCE L3 and L5) installations. This can be done by the customer or you, the Dealer installing their system. 
    Note: if the customer is provisioning for an AVANCE LX5, the AVANCE L5, MB13 antennas, and promotion form must be submitted prior to LX5 availability in order to receive the MB13 $30,000 bonus rebate. The LRU swap and 5G activation must be completed by December 31, 2024.
  2. Once we receive the form, Gogo Sales Operations or a Regional Sales Manager will reach out to confirm the customer’s promotion eligibility. 
  3. If the customer is provisioning before 5G entry into service, the AVANCE L5 should be sent to Gogo using the RMA labels provided, after installation of the LX5 system.
  4. Then, they will be issued a rebate upon activation before December 31, 2024, from Gogo in approximately 4-8 weeks after the equipment is received in our system and the SSA has been completed.  
  5. The customer must complete a Subscriber Service Agreement (SSA) to activate service.  

Q: When does the promotion expire?

A: The Ready To Fly promotion runs through December 31, 2024. If the customer chooses to provision their aircraft with AVANCE L5 and MB13 antennas to receive the MB13 $30,000 bonus rebate, this offer expires at the time of 5G entry into service. 
 

Q: How will I be notified when a customer requests to purchase an AVANCE system?

A: You will receive an email when a customer completes the new customer promo form. 
 

Q: Is this promotion available for AVANCE LX5, L5 and L3 systems? 

A: Yes, there is a promotion for the AVANCE L3, AVANCE L5, and AVANCE LX5. See the details above for the different rebate amounts.   

 

Q: We have AVANCE L5s and L3s in our inventory. Do we need to buy systems specifically for this promotion?

A: No. You can use existing inventory for L5 and L3. If new inventory is needed, a non-cancellable PO must be submitted, and equipment shipped, installed, and activated, by December 31, 2024.

Q: What if the customer’s account has a past due balance? 

A: If the customer has a past due balance on the aircraft account for any existing Gogo service, then the past due balance must be paid in full before the customer will qualify for the program. 
  

Q: I'm currently installing an AVANCE system, can customers retroactively get this credit? 

A: No, this promo is only valid for system activations that occur on or after April 24, 2023. 
 

 Q: Can customers qualify for the promotion on multiple aircraft? 

A: Yes. Customers who install an AVANCE LX5 or L5 or L3 on multiple aircraft that currently do not have Gogo ATG equipment installed are eligible for this promotion. Customers with an aircraft that has a Gogo system already installed will not qualify but you may qualify for either our Tech Transformation (current Classic ATG customers) or First To Fly (AVANCE L3 or L5 customers) promo.
  

Q: Is someone on a fleet program eligible for the promotion? 

A: No. Aircraft on a service pricing agreement (fleet program) are not eligible for this program; we'd like to create an upgrade plan that best meets your customers’ needs so please contact your Regional Sales Manager to discuss options.

Q: My customer is purchasing a new OEM Production aircraft. Do they qualify for this promotion? 

A: No. The promotions are intended for pre-owned aircraft without a classic ATG (1000/2000/4000/5000/8000) or AVANCE (L3/L5) system installed. Please have them contact their Regional Sales Manager so we can determine promotion eligibility. 
 

Q: Can this promotion be used towards a purchase of Gogo 5G? 

A: Yes! Customers can take advantage of this promotion by choosing AVANCE LX5, the 5G AVANCE system.
