Dealer FAQ

Q: What is the Tech Transformation promotion? 

A: Our Tech Transformation promotion is available to Classic ATG customers who would like to upgrade to the AVANCE platform. They’re eligible for a $25,000 rebate when upgrading to the AVANCE L3 with a Plus or Max configuration, and a $50,000 rebate when upgrading to the AVANCE L5 or AVANCE LX5. They will receive their rebate upon return of the classic ATG system to Gogo, along with system activation and completion of a Subscriber Services Agreement (SSA) on their new L3 or L5 or LX5 system.
 

Q: Is this open for all ATG systems? 

A: Yes. Any customer with an ATG 1000/2000/4000/5000/8000 may take part in this promotion.
 

Q: What does my customer need to do? 

A:

  1. Complete the promo request form available online. This can be done by the customer or you, the Dealer installing their system. 

  1. Once we receive the form, Gogo Sales Operations or a Regional Sales Manager will reach out to confirm the customer’s promotion eligibility. 

  1. After installation of the AVANCE L3 or L5 or LX5 system, the Classic ATG should be sent to Gogo using the RMA labels provided.  

  1. Then, they will be issued a rebate from Gogo in approximately 4-8 weeks after the equipment is received in our system and the SSA has been completed.  

  2. The customer must complete a Subscriber Service Agreement (SSA) to activate service.  
     

Q: What is the process for receiving a rebate? 

A: When a rebate is due, our Accounting team will pay out the rebate based on the information provided in the promo registration form. The payment will then be processed via check. Please allow 4-8 weeks for processing after all the qualifications detailed above have been met. If Accounting is unable to process the rebate payment via check, the amount will be credited to the monthly service account for the aircraft that completed the upgrade.
 

Q: I enrolled in your 2021 AVANCE promo but never completed the installation, am I eligible for the Tech Transformation promotion?

A: Yes! While you won’t be automatically enrolled in the Tech Transformation promotion, all you need to do is fill out the promo form and meet the remaining Tech Transformation promotion criteria to receive your rebate.
 

Q: Does the customer get the AVANCE hardware for free?  

A: No. They must purchase the AVANCE L3 or L5 or LX5 system and return their aircraft’s current Classic ATG system to participate in the promo and receive their rebate. 
 

Q: What if a customer doesn’t have an ATG Classic system currently in their aircraft? Are there any other promotions? 

A: Yes! Our Ready To Fly and First To Fly promos are available for both new and existing customers. Our Tech Transformation promotion is a loyalty program intended for customers with a Classic ATG system.

 

Q: If the customer’s ATG system is old, will they still get the full rebate? 

A: Yes, as long as they return the currently installed ATG LRU to Gogo and meet the additional requirements of the promotion, they will receive a full rebate.

  

Q: Can a customer get the Tech Transformation rebate on multiple aircraft? 

A: Yes. Customers who receive a multi-aircraft discount are eligible for this promotion. However, customers with a service pricing agreement (fleet program) are not eligible for this promotion. If your customer has a fleet program, we’d like to create an upgrade plan that best meets their needs; please encourage them to contact their Gogo Key Account Manager for details.
 

Q: What if a customer’s account has a past due balance? 

A: Their account must be in good standing to qualify for the promotion. If their account has a past due balance on their monthly service account, the past due balance must be paid in full before they will qualify for the promotion.

 

Q: One of my customers is purchasing a new pre-owned aircraft with an existing Classic ATG system. Will they qualify for the promotion? 

A: Yes. Please have them contact Gogo Sales Operations to confirm the existing unit at basales@gogoair.com or +1.888.328.0200.
